Color Play with Papillon Potpourri

With adult coloring books being all the rage these days, I took to coloring with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set.  Such a fun butterfly set.

I made one card with cool colors and one with warm colors to contrast.

The warm color card uses watermelon wonder, tangerine tango, pumpkin pie, peekaboo peach & daffodil delight (order from center-out on butterfly).

The cool color card uses dapper denim, island indigo, tempting turquoise, pool party & mint macaron. (also in order of center-out on butterfly).

For the coloring, I used the Stampin’ Write markers.papillon potpourri collage

The sentiments come from the Happy Happenings stamp set.  They are stamped on circles using the big shot layering circles framelit dies. I coordinated the ruched ribbon in peekaboo peach and dapper denim.  Lastly, I used metallic thread in gold and silver.

A stack of plain stamped images and some markers would make a great gift for that crafty friend that likes to color.

Thank you for stopping by!!

  1. I love these cards. This stamp set never seems to get old. There’s always new ideas coming out. I will try these. Thanks.
