I had so much fun playing with the swirly bird stamp set and coordinating swirly scribbles thinlits! I love the way these cards turned out!
The pacific point and smoky slate card has cottage greetings sentiment, and I added sequins from the bold brights collection.
The basic gray and melon mambo card has a thoughtful banners sentiment, a layer of neutrals dsp in basic gray.
The flirty flamingo card has a layer love sentiment, and I added metallic thread in silver.
The bermuda bay, pool party combo card uses the bermuda bay ombre stamp pad to color the middle swirl – you can see light fading. The sentiment is from picture perfect.
Have a wonderful day!
Two of my favorite stamp sets are Foxy Friends and Swirly Bird because they are playful and versatile.
I created this fun card of a cat looking out the window at three little birds.
The window was created using the Hearth and Home thinlit and the wall was created using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.
Here is a different view of the card.
The birds are melon mambo, daffodil delight & flirty flamingo. The cat is early espresso, with a crumb cake colored chest. The brick wall is sahara sand, and the inside window is blushing bride.
For the window opening, I embossed the sahara sand cardstock first, then cut out the opening. I adhered the window frame using multi purpose liquid glue.
Have a great day!
Over the weekend I had some lovely ladies come over and make some cards while sipping on wine…
Two of my favorite things for sure…. and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening!!
For one of the projects we made 4 x 3 cards and coordinated envelopes using the envelope punch board. All you need is a 6 x 6 piece of paper, which is perfect for using the Playful Palette DSP or the A Little Foxy DSP!
The cards used Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo & Sweet Sugarplum.
It was a fun night and many cute projects were made!
Swirly Bird stamp set is the set that keeps on giving!
I used the splatter stamp in coordinating colors, added some additional embellishments, and I love the way the cards came out!!
The first card has watermelon wonder (also the color of the framing cardstock) and flirty flamingo for the splatter. The kites are in mint macaron. The washi tape is affectionately yours.
The second card has night of navy (also the color of the framing cardstock) and island indigo for the splatter. The balloons were created using the balloon bouquet punch and the floral boutique designer series paper. The washi tape is floral boutique.
These were fun and easy cards to make!!
June 1st cannot come soon enough let me tell you! Been playing with my preorder items from the new catalog, and I am having so much fun! Isn’t he a little cutie?
Here are the other colors I created as well…
I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Cucumber Crush, Tempting Turquoise & Rich Razzleberry.
Have a wonderful day!!
Excluding the swirly bird set, see all other supplies used in this project below:
The girls school offered the kids with summer birthdays to celebrate in May, so this gave me the opportunity to play with new product from the new catalog AND make cute, fun, adorable treats for the girls’ class.
First I printed their names on the thick whisper white cardstock using Microsoft word. Then I cut out the names using a 1 1/2″ punch. Next I added the swirly from the Swirly Bird stamp set. I also added a cupcake using the party punch pack and glitter paper.
For the goody bags I used the 6×8 cellophane bags and attached the tags with coordinating 2016-2018 In Color ribbon.
Hope the kids enjoy them!!
