Happy Halloween!!

Are you ready for Halloween?!?!

I have been busy making treats for today —

For the wee ones, play-doh is always a big hit.  Using the spooky fun stamp set and coordinating Halloween scene edgelits, along with the Halloween night washi tape and designer series paper, I created some fun bag toppers.img_6435-v3

Another big hit with the elementary school kids are PENCILS.  Here are some spooky pencil treat bags.

These treat bags also used the cookie cutter Halloween stamp set and coordinating cookie cutter builder punch.

Are you scared yet!?!?!

If not, check out these Dove chocolate treat bags…

These treat bags use the 2 x 8 cello bags.

Now, these are my FAVORITE treats I put together using the clear tiny treat boxes.

Turns out you can fit 4 York peppermint patties or 3 Reeses peanut butter cups in these perfectly-sized 2 x 2 boxes.

Hope you have a spooky, scary, and happy halloween!!!

Halloween Treat Boxes

Are you getting ready for Halloween treats and decorations?!?!  I have been quite busy with some fun decorated treat ideas.img_6263-v4

Today I will share a treat box that fits 3 Hershey’s chocolate nuggets.  The boxes were created using the Halloween Night specialty designer series paper.

Cut cardstock to 5.75″ x 5.75″, then score as shown in image below.img_6355-v3

Once scored, fold cardstock at crease lines to make box easier to assemble.  As seen in the image, trim cardstock by cutting off corners.  The strips that will fold in on the sides were cut diagonally for a better fit.  Once folded in I adhered them with a glue dot to hold in place.  Then fold the 1/2″ flap over adhering with tear and tape adhesive.  Lastly fold over the third (inside the front of the box) 1/2″ flap and adhere with tear and tape adhesive.

Decorate the chocolates with designer series paper and other fun embellishments (shown is the bat from the Halloween Scenes edgelits in pumpkin pie glimmer paper).

Decorate the outside of your boxes with similar embellishments, and your recipients will love their spooky and yummy treats!!

**SNEAK PEEK** Another Look at Spooky Fun

Still playing with the Spooky Fun stamp set from the Holiday Catalog that will go live on September 1, 2016.

This time I created  a shaker card with the witch flying in the background.

The card base is old olive and the front cover is pumpkin pie.  The fence is part of the Halloween Scenes edgelits.

Can you feel the cool Fall breeze yet?

Thanks for stopping by!

**SNEAK PEEK** Spooky Fun & Halloween Scenes Bundle!

I had a blast playing with the Halloween Scenes edgelits and Spooky Fun stamp set (sold as a bundle) from the Holiday Catalog that will be released on September 1, 2016!

Seriously the products are ADORABLE — in a spooky-kind-of-way…

Spooky Sneak Peek

I also used the Halloween Night designer series paper and Halloween Night baker’s twine.

One tip:

The pumpkin faces are three separate stamps, so I placed them over a stamped image of the pumpkins to align them perfectly.  Then I put the clear block over the stamps.  This made stamping with perfect alignment easy.

Have a great (spooky) day!
