My daughters have been learning sight words throughout the school year, and sometimes I feel they could use a refresher. In the past I’ve put sticky notes on the mirror in the bathroom so they could review while brushing their teeth or fixing their hair. However, I wanted to make something a little more appealing, so I came up with this display.
This display is in the powder room, so they can read the words while they wash their hands. The goal is to read 5 words while they wash.
I printed the words on the computer and cut them out in strips. Then I stuck them to colorful card stock. I cut coordinating colors of Stampin’ Up ribbon and pinned the words to the ribbon using clothespins (p. 160 of the annual catalog) from Stampin’ Up.
I plan to change the words weekly, or every few days… depending on how well the girls know the words on display.
