Life has been busy lately, that is for sure!
The kiddos started school today and their birthday is tomorrow… and their birthday party is Saturday…. oof da!
Over the summer they tutored with a wonderful teacher from their school, so I made her some personalized stationery using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set.
I used the 2016-2017 In Colors, with coordinating ribbon. I even stamped the envelopes to match the note cards. The letter “B” is from a retired Big Shot die. However, the same effect can be created with any of our alphabet stamp sets.
Have a wonderful day!!
One of my childhood friends celebrated a milestone birthday this year, so I thought it’d be fun to send some personalized stationary.
I love how effortlessly you can dress up a card with washi tape. These cards are a great quick and easy design.
For these cards I used the Affectionately Yours, Floral Boutique, and Pop of Pink washi tape.
While I used a retired alphabet thinlit set, these cards can easily be created using the Layered Letters Alphabet or Brushwork Alphabet stamp sets.
Have a fabulous day!!
My aunt is celebrating her birthday this week. She is big into her garden and loves flowers.
Using the Bloomin’ Love stamp set along with Love Blossoms DSP, I made her a fun birthday card with coordinating notecards.
To make the ruffle ribbon you can use the tear and tape adhesive or the glue dots.
I found both worked just as good, with the tear and tape being slightly easier because you only had to adhere one big strip. The glue dots would work good for a circle or varying shape. Here is a close up view of the ruffle ribbon…
For the notecards, I created coordinating envelopes, which adds a nice touch.

Trying to decide what to give Mom for Mother’s Day? How about some note cards.
Using 3 pages of the Lovely Blossoms DSP, I was able to create 15 note cards! Strips are cut at 4.25″ x 1.5″. Attach those strips to 4.25″ x 5.5″ pieces of card stock. Colors used include Blushing Bride, Rose Red, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, and Whisper White.
Using the Bloomin’ Love set, stamp the envelope for an added touch of grace.
See below for supplies used in project above.

I had the opportunity to make some personalized notecards for an adorable little girl in my daughters’ class who will be celebrating her birthday this weekend. The mom expressed among other things that she likes fancy notecards — all I heard was FANCY NOTECARDS. You mean I can make her gift doing what I love to do?!??!
So here you have it. I made a total of 10 cards, 2 of each color.
I used the brights color collections DSP, silver glimmer paper, adhered to thick white cardstock. The circles are 1″ and 1 1/4″, using the circle punches on p. 165 of the annual catalog. I used dimensionals to give the letter a little lift over the card. The letter “e” was created using the Big Shot.
