I cannot believe it has been almost a month since I last posted….
However, I have something fun to share. I’ve been working on my Christmas cards and I wanted to share those ideas with you. I make picture cards and always struggle between the balance of stamping art and the picture itself. This year, I did primarily z-fold cards and a few 5 x 7 cards. I really like the z-fold cards because they showcase the stamping art and the picture separately. They also fit in the standard 5 3/4″ x 4 3/8″ envelopes Stampin’ Up sells. For the 5 x 7 cards, I make my envelopes using the Stampin’ Up punch board.
Below is a collage of all my card designs.
Be sure to check back these next few days to see more instruction on how I made the different designs.
Thanks for stopping by!!
I made a couple more Easter cards using the Easter Lamb stamp set. I’m telling you that little guy is soooo cute!! Using some leftover supplies from my January Paper Pumpkin set, coordinating with the Love Blossoms DSP (p. 17 of occasions catalog), Wildflower Fields DSP from Sale-a-Bration (p. 12 of SAB catalog), and the Tea Lace Paper Doilies (p. 148 of annual catalog) really completed the look of those cards.
Lastly, I had to make a bunny using the Playful Pals and coordinating thinlits!
Have a hoppin’ good Easter!!
I just adore the little fuzzy lamb on the Lamb Easter stamp (p. 24 of Occasions catalog). I stamped the image in two parts. First I covered the wording so it wouldn’t appear when I inked the stamp. Then I covered the lamb with post its and used a stampin’ marker to ink the wording.
I used the fringe scissors (p. 168 of annual catalog) to make the grass,
and added little eggs made from the balloon in the party punch pack (p.4 of Occasions catalog).
Stay tuned for more fun Easter projects to come!
