The hubby needed some thank you cards for his co-workers so I used my go-to masculine Going Places DSP (which is retiring at the end of this month!!).
These were simple and easy to make. The base card is crumb cake, the brown is soft suede and I used the white embossing powder for the white thank you sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!

It’s my husband’s birthday tomorrow and I wanted to wrap his present, but I didn’t have any shirt boxes on hand. So, instead I used tissue paper, added some ribbon, cardstock… and it’s all done.
For the globe, I used a sponging technique.
Have a great day!
My brothers-in-law have birthdays one day apart, so I’ve been busy creating cards to celebrate them.
Going places DSP is my go-to for masculine cards. One brother-in-law is turning 40, so I figured the “you’re fabulous” sentiment from the Whole Lot of Lovely hostess stamp set would be appropriate for fabulous at forty. I used the technique of coloring only the words, since flowers didn’t fit the style. On the inside I added a small strip of DSP for a little added style.
Additionally for the sentiment, I cut out a second circle, same size as the globe, and only used the part with the verbiage so the globe beneath would show through.
The second card used sentiments from Butterfly Basics stamp set.
Thanks for checking out my cards!
Our very kind and sweet neighbor helped us out with our truck, so I thought it appropriate to send him a thank you card. Using the Going Places DSP (p. 39 of occasions catalog) along with the Another Thank You stamp set (p.15 annual catalog), I was able to create a simple and masculine card for him.
Thanks for taking a look!
