I cannot believe we’re in August already! AUGUST?!?!
Kids will be going back to school in a couple of weeks, and many families are getting those last-minute vacations in, enjoying some good family time in the sand, under the hot August sun, creating some fabulous summer memories…
This is what I imagine with the Seaside Shore stamp set and By the Shore DSP. Seashells, starfish and cute little fish images.
You can see the full suite of seaside adorableness on page 93 of the annual catalog.
The cards above were created using the By the Shore designer series paper and Seaside Shore stamp set. I coordinated sentiments from Cottage Greetings, Thoughtful Banners, and Thankful Thoughts stamp sets.
I used the Layering Circle framelits as the focal point for the card.
I hope these cards inspired you to enjoy your last few weeks of summer!
I’m always trying to come up with new ways or different ways to use the tools I already have. Today I tried something new with the balloon bouquet punch (#140609) and the star punch (#138293).
Coordinating with the playful palette washi tape (#141659), I added some fun reverse punches to create birthday cards.
Coordinating cardstock colors are sweet sugarplum, emerald envy, and peekaboo peach – all 2016-2018 In Colors.
I embellished with the In Colors enamel shapes (#141410) and, my go-to dimensionals (#104430).
The sentiments come from the Happy Happenings and Cottage Greetings stamp sets.

Playing with colors and created a card using Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight & Smoky Slate.
I used the Brights Color Collections DSP, which gave the card a lively feel. It’s a quick and easy card.
The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings.
Have a nice day!
Nothing says happy birthday like sequins and bright colors!!
I created a shaker card using the Melon Mambo cardstock, softening it a bit with Smoky Slate as the base. I used A Little Foxy DSP for the see through images.
The sentiment comes from the Cottage Greetings stamp set.
Have a nice day!
Playing with the Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin set, I came up with some fun alternate cards.
The “Happy” stickers are really useful to have and really easy to use.
I coordinated the stickers with the A Little Foxy DSP – tying the pool party colors together.
I then added a banner underneath the Happy sentiment using the Banner Triple punch and Watermelon Wonder cardstock.
Pretty simple and easy to pull together.
Thanks for stopping by!
I think the butterflies from the butterflies thinlits are just beautiful. The detail is so delicate.
And, doesn’t it look beautiful combined with the Affectionately Yours DSP?
Made these thank you cards using the five non-neutral colors present in Affectionately Yours DSP. The colors are Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight & Mint Macaron.
Thank you for stopping by!
Below is a list of supplies, excluding the Affectionately Yours DSP, as this is not available until June 1st when the new catalog goes live.

Have a fabulous day!!
I have a cousin who is an avid surfer, so a Beautiful Ride was the only stamp set appropriate for his birthday card! I did use the sentiments from Cottage Greetings as well as the cloud from Balloon Celebration. The card stock is lost lagoon, and so is the watercolor of the car. The surfboard is hello honey.
Have a happy day!!
Combining the sentiments of Cottage Greetings and the delicate images of Butterfly Basics, I created a thank you card for a dear, sweet friend.
I used perfect plum, mint macaron, and crumb cake to give it a softer look. The Butterfly Thinlits Dies coordinate nicely with the butterfly in the stamp set, and dimensionals give it a nice lift. I also used the Project Life corner punch to soften the edges.
Have a lovely day, and thank you for stopping by!
Today is my dad’s birthday! To celebrate, I made him a fun card using the Going Global stamp set and coordinating Going Places DSP (p. 39 of the Occasions catalog). I combined Lost Lagoon and Tip Top Taupe colors, and I added the Happy Birthday saying from the Cottage Greetings stamp set (p.94 of the annual catalog).
