Happy New Year!!
It’s a new year and new creations are brewing with new products, as the new Occasions catalog goes live January 3rd!
This month color fusers are creating with soft sky, marina mist, whisper white and a glimmer or foil sheet.
My first instinct was snowflakes and winter, as that is what January is all about. However, I have a few winter birthdays to celebrate and the new Occasions catalog has LOTS of birthday sets. For my card I used the Party Hat Birthday bundle.
The card base and ink are marina mist. The hat front is soft sky, with whisper white cardstock stamped beneath. I used dimensionals to adhere the soft sky piece to the whisper white cardstock.
When I assembled the cut outs of the white cardstock and soft sky cardstock, they were slightly misaligned. However, this worked nicely when I added the hat trim piece in glimmer paper.
Another fun little tip – Use the leftover pieces from the die cut to accessorize your project.

I cannot believe we are in December already. I have been a busy bee making all my Christmas cards, which I hope to share on my blog later this month.
The Color Fusers team chose some fun, festive colors for the month.
Emerald Envy + Cherry Cobbler + Tranquil Tide + Whisper White
To display the festivity I used the Smitten Mitten stamp set and coordinating Many Mitten framelits, which is sold in a bundle as well.
The card base is Emerald Envy, the layered DSP is from Be Merry designer series paper set, and the mittens are Tranquil Tide and Cherry Cobbler.
The message inside the card was stamped on a scalloped circle from Layering Circles framelits, accented with 3/8″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Emeral Envy.
Here is a closer look at the detail in the mittens.
I hope I have left you with cozy thoughts with these Smitten Mittens.

Hello, and welcome… love this time of year…
This month we chose Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip & Tangerine Tango.
From the current holiday catalog, I used the Pick a Pumpkin bundle, combined with the Paisleys & Posies set.
Card #1 has a Blushing Bride card base, Tangerine Tango pumpkins, accented with Wild Wasabi and Chocolate Chip.
I saved the star cut outs from the die cut and pasted them on for added fun.
You can see I also used dimensionals to give a 3D effect.
Card #2 is a Very Vanilla base with Chocolate Chip pumpkin, accented with Tangerine Tango.
The leaves underneath are Wild Wasabi.
I accented the sentiment in Blushing Bride, using the Patterned Pumpkins die cut.

It’s the first Monday of October and the Color Fusers team is back for more fun and creativity!!
This month we used Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Suede & Whisper White. Such a great combination of colors for Autumn.
I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and coordinating Seasonal Layers thinlits. Seriously, this has been an awesome set to use for so many occasions.
The reversed leaves were created by using the sponge daubers over a cut out image of a leaf, found in the thinlits set.
On the inside of the card, I stamped the smaller leaf in pumpkin pie, fresh fig, and lemon lime twist.
Hope this has inspired you to create a few Autumn-themed cards.

Happy Labor Day weekend!!
Hope you are enjoying your final weekend of summer festivities… well, technically we have a few more weeks, but I always see Labor Day as the end cap to summer.
This month’s color combination was awesome!! Very cheerful.
It led me to create a couple simple birthday cards that required NO STAMPING. NO INK. What to the what?!?!?
Stampin’ Up has some great die cuts and punches, and that’s what I used to create these two simple cards. The Happy Birthday message from the happy birthday thinlits die (#143700) is simple and elegant.
For the striped card, I cut strips of card stock into 1.25″ x 4″ and they fit evenly on a standard 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base.
The balloon card is a bit more whimsical and I used dimensionals to raise a couple of the balloons I cut out using the balloon bouquet punch (#140609).

It’s the August hop!
Where has this summer gone?!?!? How is it August already? Soon we’ll be back in school, sipping apple cider, and wearing sweaters again….
But, for now we have this beautiful assortment of colors to play with.
Very summery with a nice contrasting black and smoky slate.
I just love The Little Piggy stamp set. So cheerful and sweet.
I water colored the pig in powder pink. The flower is berry burst. I accented with the 1/2″ finely woven ribbon in both berry burst and powder pink. What a fun card to send to someone you love and cheer up their day.

Have a wonderful day!!
Another first Monday of the month, another Color Fusers Blog Hop!
This month we used Dapper Denim, Soft Sky, Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White.
To showcase the colors, I used the You Move Me stamp set and coordinating Move Me thinlits. I love that the detail of the butterfly is separate from the base, so you can use two colors.
I adhered the butterfly with dimensionals to give it a little lift, but let’s be honest, I ALWAYS use dimensionals on my projects!
I added the lemon lime twist ombre ribbon, which is B-E-A-UTIFUL!!
Well, thank you for stopping by! Be sure to visit all the other creative demonstrators amazing projects!
After a short break, we are back!
The colors this month are amazing! These are definitely colors I use a lot in my creations.
To showcase these colors, I used two sets from the new annual catalog.
First I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set with coordinating Happy Birthday thinlits die.
What a versatile set! You can use the balloons or add a feminine touch with the flowers. Seriously, I just started stamping flowers and could’ve done this for hours making different patterns.
Next up, I used the In the City hostess set.
What a fun set! So many options with all the different building shapes….

Welcome back to the Color Fusers Blog Hop!
This month we are showcasing Mint Macaron, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder & Wild Wasabi.
I used the Custom Tee, coordinating T-shirt Builder framelits & Tie Dyed sets to create my card this month.
The sentiment is from Lift Me Up stamp set. All items can be found in Stampin’ Up’s Occasions catalog, which is available until May 2017.
The card base is Mint Macaron cardstock, with Peekaboo Peach DSP and Wild Wasabi DSP cut out using the Sweetheart punch.
I even did fun thing with the DSP, highlighting the word love…
This card would be great for an anniversary or newlyweds.

Hello and welcome back to the Color Fusers blog hop!!
I have to say I had so much fun making my project for this month’s hop. As you know, January through March are Sale-a-bration months with Stampin’ Up! What is Sale-a-bration you ask? It’s time to earn FREE products with every $50 purchase. One of those products this year is the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper. It is designed for coloring and is awesome to use with the Watercolor Pencils from the latest Occasions catalog.
I then used my Paper Snips to cut out the watercolored image. For the spots within the flowers I used a paper piercing pad and the edge of my snips to cut those sections out.
I then attached the cut out image to the card front using dimensionals. If you’re like me and you save the trim, it makes for great smaller pieces that fit behind smaller paper cut outs.
Well, here is the final project —
I used calypso coral for the base of the flower, bermuda bay for the stems, early espresso for the flower center, and peekaboo peach for flower petals.
Here is the inside of the card —
Well, hope you enjoyed the tutorial and are now inspired to get going on your watercoloring!
