Well, it’s not really a game unless you’re a bit type-A like me….
With the new catalog — to be released June 1st — and new In Colors on the way, it was time to redo my cardstock organization.
If you’re like me, you save your scraps in case you may just need that small’ish piece for your next project and you don’t want to waste a whole new piece of cardstock.
I save my cardstock scraps in legal-size labeled hanging folders. I also adhere a piece of that color of cardstock on the label so I can match or compare to what I have in my hand.
However, new this year I have decided to use FUN punches instead of the plain 1/4″ circle punch from the past…
Wasn’t that exciting!?!?
To recap, I use the following for my cardstock scrap organization….
- Legal size hanging folders
- Avery 5167 labels (1 3/4″ x 1/2″)
- Fun and exciting punch to adhere a piece of the color of cardstock to the label
I will also be adding the designer series paper packs as labels for those scraps once the catalog comes out and I can buy that paper…
