Who doesn’t love a little copper embossing? I know lots of people that were so excited to see the copper embossing powder come back to the Stampin’ Up catalog.
I used the Butterfly Basics stamp set, which is just so elegant, and added a piece of the Affectionately Yours DSP that also has copper in it.
I colored in the flower image with old olive and calypso coral. The sentiments come from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set. Here is a closer look.
Have a fabulous day!!
Playing with the Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin set, I came up with some fun alternate cards.
The “Happy” stickers are really useful to have and really easy to use.
I coordinated the stickers with the A Little Foxy DSP – tying the pool party colors together.
I then added a banner underneath the Happy sentiment using the Banner Triple punch and Watermelon Wonder cardstock.
Pretty simple and easy to pull together.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Sunday!! I have a couple ladies coming over to make some birthday cards and came up with this fun card. Actually took the idea from page 113 of the new catalog.
I love how delicate the butterfly thinlits are.
Thanks for stopping by!
I think the butterflies from the butterflies thinlits are just beautiful. The detail is so delicate.
And, doesn’t it look beautiful combined with the Affectionately Yours DSP?
Made these thank you cards using the five non-neutral colors present in Affectionately Yours DSP. The colors are Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight & Mint Macaron.
Thank you for stopping by!
Below is a list of supplies, excluding the Affectionately Yours DSP, as this is not available until June 1st when the new catalog goes live.
My brothers-in-law have birthdays one day apart, so I’ve been busy creating cards to celebrate them.
Going places DSP is my go-to for masculine cards. One brother-in-law is turning 40, so I figured the “you’re fabulous” sentiment from the Whole Lot of Lovely hostess stamp set would be appropriate for fabulous at forty. I used the technique of coloring only the words, since flowers didn’t fit the style. On the inside I added a small strip of DSP for a little added style.
Additionally for the sentiment, I cut out a second circle, same size as the globe, and only used the part with the verbiage so the globe beneath would show through.
The second card used sentiments from Butterfly Basics stamp set.
Thanks for checking out my cards!
Combining the sentiments of Cottage Greetings and the delicate images of Butterfly Basics, I created a thank you card for a dear, sweet friend.
I used perfect plum, mint macaron, and crumb cake to give it a softer look. The Butterfly Thinlits Dies coordinate nicely with the butterfly in the stamp set, and dimensionals give it a nice lift. I also used the Project Life corner punch to soften the edges.
Have a lovely day, and thank you for stopping by!
