I’m always trying to come up with new ways or different ways to use the tools I already have. Today I tried something new with the balloon bouquet punch (#140609) and the star punch (#138293).
Coordinating with the playful palette washi tape (#141659), I added some fun reverse punches to create birthday cards.
Coordinating cardstock colors are sweet sugarplum, emerald envy, and peekaboo peach – all 2016-2018 In Colors.
I embellished with the In Colors enamel shapes (#141410) and, my go-to dimensionals (#104430).
The sentiments come from the Happy Happenings and Cottage Greetings stamp sets.

Well, it’s the third Monday of July and the Color Fusers Blog Hop is back with more exciting creations using Cucumber Crush, Flirty Flamingo, & Peekabo Peach.
I started with the whisper white thick cardstock (cut at 4.25″ x 11″ & folded in half)
I added a piece of the 2016-2018 In Colors DSP in peekaboo peach (cut at 1.5″ x 5.5″). Then I used half of a cucumber crush doilie and wrapped the front of the card with coordinating cucumber crush mini striped ribbon.
I used flirty flamingo for the sentiment which is from the Layering Love stamp set. I framed the sentiment (cut at 2.25″ x 3″) in flirty flamingo cardstock (cut at 2.375″ x 5.125″) and also added another piece of the 2016-2018 In Colors DSP (cut at 2.375″ x 5.125″). At the bottom of the card I added three little hearts – tying into the phrase – using the 2016-2018 enamel shapes in flirty flamingo.
Below are the creations of the other talented demonstrators in this blog hop:

Thank you so much for stopping by!! For more color fusers, we will be posting the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.
You know what’s awesome about Stampin’ Up? All their products coordinate! You will find matching cardstock, ink, ribbon and embellishments!! Makes your card making a breeze.
Today, I put together cards using a variety of products in the 2016-2018 In Colors.
Wouldn’t this make a great gift as a set?!?!
The In Colors DSP is cut at 5.5″ x 1.5″ and the Thick White cardstock is cut at 5.5″ x 2.5″, and adhered using dimensionals, to give it a little pop. The sentiment comes from the Painter’s Palette stamp set. It’s a great saying on its own, or you could stamp a Happy Birthday note inside. I love having these types of cards on hand in case I need to send a friend a quick note, or even sending a card “just because” is always a nice gesture.

Playing with this month’s Paper Pumpkin and Playful Palette DSP, I created some fun complimenting cards.
The graduation card is Emerald Envy and the birthday card is Sweet Sugarplum.
Thank for stopping by!!
Over the weekend I had some lovely ladies come over and make some cards while sipping on wine…
Two of my favorite things for sure…. and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening!!
For one of the projects we made 4 x 3 cards and coordinated envelopes using the envelope punch board. All you need is a 6 x 6 piece of paper, which is perfect for using the Playful Palette DSP or the A Little Foxy DSP!
The cards used Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo & Sweet Sugarplum.
It was a fun night and many cute projects were made!
Are you back for more lollipop fun??!?!
When I think of lollipops, I think of kids. It’s the best way to eat candy – lick by lick – enjoying, savoring that sweet goodness….
With that in mind I tried to channel my inner child — who are we kidding? I didn’t have reach very far — and create some fun lollipop projects using the Swirly Scribbles thinlits.
Here is the whole collection…
Recognize the card from yesterday’s sneak peek?
Here is more detail on the glassine gift bags…
Yes, those are real lollipop sticks!!
Have a sweet day!!

I am loving my goodies from the new catalog!!
I was exploring with the Playful Palette DSP and the Thankful Thoughts stamp set, and made some fun thank you cards.
I think the new In Colors are beautiful!
Ribbon colors include Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy. To attach, I used glue dots because they’re small and stick really well.

Aaaaah, the last day of school!
I’m sure many of you are sending in gift cards to your kids’ teachers to thank them for their hard work and dedication. Why not spruce things up a bit? Make the packaging more playful?
I found some small tumblers at Target for $1.50, added a swirly straw, sunblock, lemonade mix, and added a gift card. I used the Playful Palette DSP, attached with coordinating ribbon, and wrote a quick note on the back…
You know what else is fun?
Taking goofy pictures with your kids!!
Happy beginning of summer break to all, and stay tuned for more teacher gift ideas tomorrow…
The girls school offered the kids with summer birthdays to celebrate in May, so this gave me the opportunity to play with new product from the new catalog AND make cute, fun, adorable treats for the girls’ class.
First I printed their names on the thick whisper white cardstock using Microsoft word. Then I cut out the names using a 1 1/2″ punch. Next I added the swirly from the Swirly Bird stamp set. I also added a cupcake using the party punch pack and glitter paper.
For the goody bags I used the 6×8 cellophane bags and attached the tags with coordinating 2016-2018 In Color ribbon.
Hope the kids enjoy them!!
Playing with more pre-order items and color…
I created these using the Swirly Bird set, available on June 1st, and existing stamp set Picture Perfect.
