Do you ever find yourself needing a generic card? You need to mail a check for the kids’ school. Send a friend a quick note. I do. A lot.
I decided to make some simple “generic” cards for myself.
The set of cards showcases the 2015-2017 In Colors with coordinating ribbon and dollies, and I used the Gift from the Garden and Pop of Paradise stamp sets.
The “hello” fits perfectly in the 1 3/8″ circle punch. The boots were cut out using the big shot layering circle framelits.
Of course I added dimensionals. Always do.
Have a great day!
Well, it’s the third Monday of July and the Color Fusers Blog Hop is back with more exciting creations using Cucumber Crush, Flirty Flamingo, & Peekabo Peach.
I started with the whisper white thick cardstock (cut at 4.25″ x 11″ & folded in half)
I added a piece of the 2016-2018 In Colors DSP in peekaboo peach (cut at 1.5″ x 5.5″). Then I used half of a cucumber crush doilie and wrapped the front of the card with coordinating cucumber crush mini striped ribbon.
I used flirty flamingo for the sentiment which is from the Layering Love stamp set. I framed the sentiment (cut at 2.25″ x 3″) in flirty flamingo cardstock (cut at 2.375″ x 5.125″) and also added another piece of the 2016-2018 In Colors DSP (cut at 2.375″ x 5.125″). At the bottom of the card I added three little hearts – tying into the phrase – using the 2016-2018 enamel shapes in flirty flamingo.
Below are the creations of the other talented demonstrators in this blog hop:

Thank you so much for stopping by!! For more color fusers, we will be posting the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.
There is something about the basic gray polka dot designer series paper that I find so charming. I was flipping through the packet of paper and it just shouted out at me to make something with it! OK, paper can’t talk, nor shout, but I think you get the idea….
The polka layer is cut to 4.25″ x 3″ and I added embellishments using the sweetheart punch in watermelon wonder, the decorative label punch in peekaboo peach, the swirly thinlit in tempting turquoise, and a circle in bermuda bay. The sentiments are from the thoughtful banners stamp set, with coordinating duet banner punch.
Thanks for stopping by!
Please see below for complete list of supplies:
The detailed floral thinlits are so beautiful and delicate.
I coordinated the new ’15-’17 In Colors ribbon with the thinlit dies and the cards came out beautifully elegant.
The sentiments are from a past Paper Pumpkin kit, and fit perfectly. I even used some of the die cut outs to give it additional embellishments.
Have a wonderful day!
Four years ago we moved into our house – a brand new home – which is exciting and, as we discovered, takes A LOT of landscaping to make things pretty…
We have this amazing neighbor that has probably given us 90% of the plants we have in our garden today! Like these irises…
When we planted them, they were tiny and droopy and now look at them!!
To thank her for all her generosity, I made her these cards…
I used the Gift from the Garden stamp set and the new 2016-2019 In Colors. The cardstock, designer series paper, ink, and ribbon all coordinate so nicely, don’t they?
Happy Gardening!! (and stamping)
As the school year is approaching the end, I am starting to think about all the wonderful teachers that need thanking for their wonderful service and care provided to my little ladies.
Using the extra stamp from April’s Paper Pumpkin set and the 2015-2017 In Colors, I created quick and easy thank you cards. Granted I need to make many more, but this is at least a start…
I added the 1 inch lace trim in coordinating colors that will retire at the end of next month.
See the full list of retiring products here.
